I was in Guangzhou and Foshan last week end for the opening of a branch of the 300 years old Hung Sing Gwoon (Kung Fu studio) – the original is in Foshan, in a 300 years old traditional Chinese house.

Hung Sing Gwoon - Foshan

The ceremony lasted the whole day until late at night. This is a video of a remarkable traditional lion dance performed on benches that you don’t see very often these days.

I just came across Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement Address on Youtube. A 15mn video well worth watching especially at this time of the year:

“Drawing from some of the most pivotal points in his life, Steve Jobs, chief executive officer and co-founder of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, urged graduates to pursue their dreams and see the opportunities in life’s setbacks — including death itself — at the university’s 114th Commencement on June 12, 2005.”
